Hi everybody.
I have a Toshiba A60 laptop with SL4.0 installed and running.
A while ago I upgraded kernel to version 2.6.9-11 and got kernel panic
at reboot.
I went back to 2.6.9-5.0.5.EL and everything works.
Now I have tried to update to latest kernel 2.6.9-22.0.1.EL hoping to
solve to the panic problem.

Still no success.
looking at the trace before the hang I noticed several mention of acpi
so I searched google and found references about the acpi option on
kernel cmdline.

I have tried to add either acpi=ht or acpi=off in the grub.conf file.
With these options the machine boots without crashing but I lose the USB
bus (mouse, disk).

Has anyone had this kind of problem?

Thank you very much.
