Hi,

I saw you specify hda and hdc disks. Do you have other disks ?
And if yes, are you sure you do not have an old installation with
its own 'md2' device visible?
I remember I got problems with a "many disks" machine which
installs itself on the bad disks (due to a detection order change).
The next installations get problems due to the fact that some
filesystems were present twice.
