WorksForMe under the following circumstances:
File->Connect to server, type "Secure Webdav", with server, username,
folder filled out.
"Open Location", enter URl like davs://server/folder
(asks for username and password)
nautilus-2.8.1-4
Have a look at netstat and/or strace -p <pidofnautilus> just before you
connect?
