Hello,

A package manager Synaptic is excluded in Scientific release 4.0 / 4.1, though APT is enabled.
And there is no package for it in the official SL repository.

Do you have a plan to release an official synaptic package in the future? I think it is very useful for desktop users. CentOS 4.1 for example, already released synaptic-0.55.3-1.centos4.i386.rpm in centos/4.1/extras/i386/RPMS/ repository.
