I have SL 4 (upgraded to 4.1 via yum), and have installed both KDE and GNOME. Under GNOME
some (most?) KDE applications appear in the menu and this is why I installed KDE in the
first place; having KDE applications available under GNOME. However not all KDE
applications appear in the menu under GNOME, an example is KMix (kmix from the command
line). There are some other media players too.

Is this a bug, or are there specific criteria about which KDE applications appear under
GNOME, or is it just what the Upstream Vendor decided to do?
