You should find that 

yum provides 'libstdc++.so.6(GLIBCXX_3.4.4)'

should give you an idea of the package you need.
e.g on a fedora 4 box it shows (I don't have SL4 box).

libstdc++.i386                           4.0.1-4.fc4            installed
