We have a system with two dual head Matrox cards:
03:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G400 AGP (rev 85)
04:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Matrox Graphics, Inc. MGA G400 AGP (rev 85)
running on 303 using the appended XF86Config file. The setup mostly
works with Xinerama and KDE. There are some problems. There is a
timeout for setting up each head that causes long delays in bringing
up X. The timeouts are associted with these log entries:
(--) MGA(1): BIOS at 0xFE9C0000
(II) Truncating PCI BIOS Length to 36864
(--) MGA(1): Video BIOS info block at offset 0x07CE0
(WW) MGA(1): Video BIOS info block not detected!
This is more a nuisance than show stopper.
-Brett.
