HI Connie,

We tried to do a installer media check on disk 2 and we get an

"Error

Unable to read the disc checksum form the primary volume descriptor. This
probably means the disc was created without adding the checksum."

As far as I know, we didn't do anything different when burning disk1 or
disk2. We burned the disks on a Windows XP machine using NERO (burn rate was
set at 8X - minimum).

Also, we managed to boot up the system just using disk1 alone. Bare-bones -
no X11, no nothing. Not clear to me how to access stuff over the network.

Any advice will be appreciated.

Hi COnnie,

We only checked disk1 with the "installer" media check. We can try
disk2 also.

At the moment, we chose custom but didn't check-off any packages; claims
the size of the install will be approx. 500 MB; hopefully it is all on
disk1.

thanks
vivek

Are you checking the cd with the "installer" media check?

Only select the bare minimum with custom.
