Hi John,
Usually the only thing that breaks yum is a change of python from under
it, or some type of corruption.
Can you send the output of
rpm -q yum
rpm -V yum
rpm -qa | grep python
rpm -V python
which python
If nothing looks suspicious, then we'll try a
yum -d4 update yum
But since that has alot of output, we'll look at the shorter stuff first.
