I haven't tried that, using sl-release, but actually redhat-release is
the proper format, as it will work for the various sites as well.
Why? Because sl-release 'provides' redhat-release. If it didn't, about
10% of the core rpm's, wouldn't install or upgrade. Yum is smart enough
to figure out what provides redhat-release.
