Dear friends:

This should be my last big issue. During install, SL detected my sound card 
perfectly. It tested its sound, and the sound came through perfectly in my 
speakers. I can still hear it when I send out my mail in Kmail.

But when I try to play RealPlayer sites (that I normally play in Windows), 
Firefox brings up the Helix Player plugin but it won't play. 

Similarly, when I try to play a music CD, it won't play. KSCD shows the 
progress bar. It shows it playing. But there is no sound.

I am sure this is a simple configuration error. 

Would really appreciate your help.
