If you take a random version of ndiswrapper with a random Win32 driver,
then you may very well find that, if my experience is anything to go by.

But I've been having pretty good results with ndiswrapper version 1.1
in SL303 using drivers as reported on the ndiswrapper wiki list
http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/phpwiki/index.php/List
with three different types of card that I've tried.

I can only comment that the 2200bg is in that list - I haven't tried it
myself.

Laptops in question here were IBM R40e and R50e. Oh, and X22 also.

That was, until the latest kernel upgrade. But now I don't seem to be
able to build ndiswrapper 1.1 against the latest kernel-source - I get
unresolved symbols. I'm still working on that.
