Hi,

in fact we have intel gigabit NICs on our workers.
Until recently (SL3.02 and SL3.03) we used to
install SL with PXE/anaconda, using NFS for
the kickstart file, and without any problem.

Now for the 3.04 our installation tools build
a specific 'initrd' for each machine. We add
the kickstart file in it (and some other files)
and use something like "file://tmp/ks.cfg" in
order to get kickstart file.

With that method we do not had any problem
during SL3.04 installation (and we prevent
additionnal NFS connection, which may be
a good thing when hundreds of machines
try to install at the same time :o).

Hope it may help you.

Regards,
