If it is really broken I think that would be a good idea.  I verified the 
openoffice.org rpm against redhat and thus if what you are saying is true 
then it is broken on redhat too.  Have you looked in bugzilla to see if 
this a redhat issue too.

Is this even true of the openoffice.org errata that I sent out a few days 
ago.
