I have built it for up, and smp or i686. Both start/stop, read/write.
Though the single processor took over a minute to stop ... but it did
stop. Maybe it was syncing it's cache or something.
I have compiled it on x86_64, and it compiled fine.
I wasn't able to actually test in on the machine because it was busy
doing work, and I wasn't feeling brave enough. But I bet it will work :)
I have to say "Good Job". I do like the cache size being in the spec
file. Just makes it easy to change.
I haven't done extreme testing yet, but it looks good.
If you're having troubled compiling or just want to check to see if my
recompiles work where your's don't, they are at
/afs/fnal.gov/files/home/room2/dawson/linux/openafs/1379/i386/*
I'll see about getting the x86_64's up there as well.
