Howdy,
As we near the beginning of the great S.L. 4.0.x rush, there is
something we can do while we wait. That is work on the graphics. I'm
basically makeing a call for graphics for the Scientific Linux 4.0.x
releases.

If we get many entries then we can put up a poll on the scientific linux
web site.

RULES FOR SUBMISSION
This must be completely YOUR work.
It must be able to be GPL'ed (or have a even looser license.)
No logo's, altered logo's, or anything implying that this distribution
might be associated with another distribution.
The linux penguin is ok, because it's license allows it to be integrated
into other graphics.
The short of it is, these graphics will be freely distributable. If we
find out down the road that you 'borrowed' someone elses work without
written permission, even if it's your best friend, we (the Scientific
Linux distribution and it's developers) could get in trouble.

WHAT GRAPHICS ARE NEEDED
Please note that these graphics should work with Fedora Core 3, because
that is what RHEL 4 will be based on.

GDM login screen
LILO boot screen
GRUB boot screen
DEFAULT background

NOT NEEDED BUT WOULD BE NICE

GNOME SPLASH SCREEN (will take default gnome one if no entry)
KDE SPLASH SCREEN (will take default kde one if no entry)

TOTALLY OPTIONAL (cuz I'm really used to doing these)

ANACONDA GRAPHICS

Thanks
Troy Dawson
