Hi,

Minor point - might help someone.

While trying to modify IBM's xCAT scripts

        http://www.xcat.org

to install Scientific Linux on our IBM xSeries cluster, we discovered that
Scientific Linux 3.0.2 has two copies of the Korn shell - from "pdksh" and
"ksh93". When I did an "everything" install of 3.0.2, it was ksh93 that
won control of /bin/ksh.

The ksh93 /bin/ksh did not interpret
        echo "........\n"
as the xCAT script required.

The /bin/ksh from pdksh worked as needed.

Apart from this small point and the slightly different CD layout, it looks
like Scientific Linux can be installed via xCAT more or less as expected.
Other xCAT users seem to be getting interested.
