But since the rpm RPM hasn't marked /usr/lib/rpm/macros as a %config file,
an update of rpm will revert this change.

Putting the commands into "%triggerin -- rpm" instead of "%post" should
fix this (and yes, it would even work if rpm is installed before
SL_rpm_show_arch).
