It will of course also work for the i386 release.

When it moves to the errata area it will NOT be installed by default.  You
will have to request it be installed.

Note that yum already shows the "arch".

Another example to show the output

  [root@hpdemo extrarpms]# rpm -q glibc
  glibc-2.3.2-95.27.i686
  glibc-2.3.2-95.27.x86_64
