Scientific Linux (SL) Release Candidate 2    May 3, 2004

This is only a summary of the changes made since the release of April 26,
2004.

Release is expected next week.

The location on our ftp server has changed to

        ftp://linux21.fnal.gov/linux/scientific/30rolling/

        The following rpms were changed to reflect this change.

        The following rpms were added to satisfy dependencies of mpg321
        and xmms-mpg123

Mozilla

        Changed bookmarks to Scientific Linux web page and misc other
        Linux related web pages.

Documentation

        Added script on building site iso cd images in
        /sites/example/build/scripts/buildisoimages

        Added a script to take the iso cd images built above and build a
        dvd iso image.  This script was obtained from the web.  It is
        called /sites/example/build/scripts/buildisoimages/make.dvdiso.sh

        Added to the documentation in /sites/build/documentation/
