This is your second thread hijack within the original "Problems with 
VMware tools" thread, the first being "repositories".

Using a "Reply" rather than starting a fresh message retains the old 
thread information in the mail headers and really messes up the view for 
the many people who use threaded mail readers.

Please start with a fresh message for a new Subject, rather than using a 
Reply to an existing message.  This is very common netiquette.
