Unfortunately, following the steps in the URL that you reference does
not seem to provide chromium, as demonstrated below.

[root@localhost yum.repos.d]# yum install chromium
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, refresh-packagekit, security
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
  * elrepo: elrepo.org
  * elrepo-kernel: elrepo.org
  * epel: mirror.us.leaseweb.net
  * sl: ftp.scientificlinux.org
  * sl-security: ftp.scientificlinux.org
  * sl6x: ftp.scientificlinux.org
  * sl6x-fastbugs: ftp.scientificlinux.org
  * sl6x-security: ftp.scientificlinux.org
Setting up Install Process
No package chromium available.
Error: Nothing to do

Any other suggestions?
