Hi,

I'm very new to XFS but wish to use the filesystem.

I've downloaded the kernels from the sl-contrib directory and applied them,
together with the xfsprogs package.

I intend to use the disk I'm creating the XFS filesystem on specifically for
web serving, so would like to get good performance out of the XFS filesystem.

Which commands are recommended to use when formatting the disk? just a
standard:

            mkfs.xfs /dev/?da?

Note that I'm using LVM so I'll actually be formatting the logical volume
with XFS.

Thanks.

Michael.
