Hi,

Having installed SL 302 I updated my machine and then found the new kernel
could not see the afs module. Clearly this is because the module is in a
different directory from my current kernel version:

[root@ppepc70 root]# uname -r
2.4.21-15.0.4.EL

[root@ppepc70 root]# rpm -ql
kernel-module-openafs-2.4.21-15.0.2.EL-1.2.11-15.5.SL
/lib/modules/2.4.21-15.0.2.EL/kernel/fs/openafs/openafs.o

Should I just symlink the old afs module in? Might future kernel updates
break the afs service too?

Thanks and Best Regards,

Will
