Put them all in the same directory and yum should figure it out. If not then I think there was an option ‎called --assist or --aid for the rpm command which will do it but it's been a while.

Also remember to check /etc/cron.daily there is a yum autoupdate package that installs by default on 6 and bellow that runs a cronjob to run yum update -y every day you will want to either disable it or install the yum blacklist extension rpm‎ and configure it to prevent it from updating those packages.

Hi Trin,

Go to pbone.net, find the package (rpm) you want to install.

Download the package.

switch to root and install the package
rpm -ivh package.rpm

If you can't find the package for SL on phone, then it
gets interesting.

What did you have in mind?
