Yes,
Well ... not 4.4 because it just came out, but 40rolling.  That was one 
of the tests we did.  I know of at least 3 different machines that had 
the new Intel gigabit ethernet card, which would not work correctly with 
S.L. 4.3, but did work correctly with 4.4.
