Hi,

I seem to have hit a problem with the jwhois package in the 4.8 updates
(version 3.2.2-15); on i386 running it segfaults, and running it under
strace shows:

 open("/var/tmp/jwhois-3.2.2-root/etc/jwhois.conf", O_RDONLY) = -1 ENOENT(No such file or directory)
 --- SIGSEGV (Segmentation fault) @ 0 (0) ---

Which is pretty clearly bogus, though why that leads to a segfault I'm
not sure. On x86_64 it tries the same config file path, but doesn't
segfault, though it still doesn't actually function correctly either.

I've grabbed a copy of the src.rpm (from SLC - the main SL 4.x SRPMS
directory only seems to have 3.2.2-6) and rebuilt it myself for both
architectures and my rebuild works fine.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on?

Ewan
