I am running 64-bit SciLinux 5.4, and trying to install
the latest Sage (5.2).

The Sage install complains that it needs GLIB_2.7.
The 5.4 machine currently has 2.5.

Is going from GLIBC 2.5 to 2.7 on this machine
a reasonable thing to be able to expect to do?
If so, how?
If not, suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
-Richard Vaughn
