Michael,

The e1000 driver works for all our Pro1000 units - it seems to handle most of the 825XX series chips.

Martin.

Subject: eepro1000 support in SL 3.0.3 installation?

Greetings. I'm trying to do an NFS install of SL 3.0.3 on a computer
that has an Intel Pro 1000 Ethernet card. There doesn't seem to be a
driver for this card in the SL 3.0.3 installation, not even in the
supposedly supplementary drivers (drvnet.img).

There IS a driver for an Intel gigabit card:

e1000
         eth
         "Intel EtherExpress/1000 gigabit"

and there IS a driver for the Intel Pro 100Mbps card:

eepro100
         eth
         "Intel EtherExpress Pro 100B"

but I can't find one that works for the Pro 1000. Am I missing
something? And/or is there a driver for the Pro 1000 in the 3.0.4
installer?

Thanks.

					- Mike
