I have it working on 3.0.3.

I'm using i2c-2.9.0 and lm_sensors-2.9.0

My notes are:
install the source rpms
compile the kernel and modules
i2c modules 2.9.0 - after compiling the kernel, cd to i2c dir, make all, sudo make install
lm_sensors 2.9.0 - cd to lm_sensors dir, make all, sudo make install (not necessary after each kernel compile)

good luck
