Dear all,

Firefox (3.6) in SL6 does not display (and cannot use ...) client
certificates from a profile created with a SL5 firefox (also 3.6). It
works when you recreate the profile from scratch, though.

Maybe this is related, maybe not: signtool on SL6 does not "see" the
certs, either:

[oreade38] ~/.mozilla/firefox/rfr4d090.default % signtool -L -d .

S Certificates
- ------------
You don't appear to have any object signing certificates.
- ------------
Certificates that can be used to sign objects have *'s to their left.

On SL5 this works:

[blade84] ~/.mozilla/firefox/rfr4d090.default % signtool -L -d .

S Certificates
- ------------
  fts102.cern.ch
  DFN-Verein-GS-CA - G02
[...]
  sam-dech-roc.cern.ch
- ------------
Certificates that can be used to sign objects have *'s to their left.

If I copy the SL5 binary as well as most of the used libs (libnss3.so
seems to play a key role here) to an SL6 system, signtool is able to
list the certs on an SL6 system, as well.

Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
