It looked exactly like it looks when there is no support for that filesystem type!

I'm glad to hear that. I'll check for the cause. The installation was performed from the mini_livecd 5.3, so this might have introduced some issues.

BTW, the only way to install with / being XFS is to use a LiveCD.

And, at least on the mini_livecd 5.3, GRUB fails to install on XFS, so I had to boot again the mini_livecd 5.2 and tp use grub-install from there, and it worked. (AFAIK, Urs is aware of this issue.)

I'll check later to update a system installed "normally" (a netinstall, actually), and I suppose it'll work.
