We have two identical Dell x32 systems with
recent installs of SL 3.0.2 on them. When
they come up, they both run nfslock. On one
system this works fine; on the other, lockd
is started but not statd. rpc.statd can be
started by hand, and things will work (a
reboot was required the 1st time we started
it).

As a workaround, I start it in rc.local .

Has anyone else seen this behavior?

Thanks,
Miles

[We have other systems with no problems as
well. We just found it odd that one of
two clones works and one doesn't.]
