You can check this sort of thing by typing "rpm -qi nagios-plugins".
Nagios, and the plugins are available in somewhat different versions
at RPMforge and EPEL. EPEL's plugins are more consistent with Fedora's
packages, but the RPMforge package for Nagios itself is several major
revisions ahead and I recommend it.

Mixing and matching between EPEL and RPMforge can get tricky, though.
