OK, so this intrigued me, so I thought I'd try it out.
I downloaded their src.rpm, recompiled it, then tried it on S.L. 3.0.1 on an
older laptop.
I believe it worked as it should.  I could still use the glide mouse, but I
could no longer do the taps to select things (I had to use the buttons), which
I believe is what you want.

So, the questions are ... where did you get your tpconfig?  and what type of
laptop do you have?  Is it supported?
