Hi,

I'm running SL5.0 (kernel 2.6.18-8.1.4.el5xen) using GNOME desktop.
I found sometime the openoffice will hang my X ... and I need to login
from other host, kill the Xorg process to restart my X. My previous SL44
did not have similar issue.

I tried "ps aux" to see which process cause problem, and I found

...
kccheng 4011 0.0 0.0 0 0 ? Z 06:42 0:00 [Xsession] <defunct>
...

At first, I think openoffice cause that, so I reboot the system and simply
login and use "ps aux" again (without running openoffice) ... I found that
Xsession always in Zombie state !!! But it did not cause any problem, I
can still using my Desktop ....

Anyone know why ?

Regards
KC
