Hello,

after installing SL4.4 on a Dell laptop D620 with an Nvidia graphic :

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation Quadro NVS 110M / GeForce Go 7300 (rev a1)

I did not succeed to use the full 1440x900 resolution neither with the nv driver 
nor with the  nvidia-glx-1.0.7676-0.SL.1.i686.rpm
and kernel-module-nvidia-2.6.9-42.0.3.ELsmp-1.0.7676-0.SL.2.i686.rpm
which are in the contrib repository.

The maximum resolution  I got was 1152x864 but in that case
I had a very strange behavior with the login screen staying as backgroung image
and only the border of any xterm.

With the VESA driver I got only 1024x768.

So I downloaded the  NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631-pkg1.run  from nvidia
and configure xorg.conf with their nvidia-xconfig tool after having 
deleted the previous one and it works great.
