Hi,
There were several changes to vixie-cron.
One is a permissions change.  You need to check /etc/pam.d/cron and 
/etc/pam.d/system-auth to see if there is anything strange that would 
prevent these from running.

But this error is different, and looks more like one of the changes that 
was made that prevents cronjob's from being run at the wrong time.

This bug doesn't have any extra stuff other than the bug, and an entry 
saying it's fixed, so I'm not sure if this is really the problem.  Maybe 
some other eyes can look.
