All,

I'm tuning our PXE kickstart to SL 3.0.3 and observe two things:

1/ There doesn't appear to be a kernel-modules-openafs set to match the
kernel(-smp)-2.4.21-20El.XFS rpms. The yum update puts these on over the
originals as they are `newer'.

2/ The install doesn't appear to install the smp version of the
kernel-modules-openafs rpm when doing the original install.

I can get around (1) using `yum --exclude kernel\* update' but this is
klunky.

I have not found a (sane) way round (2) yet that can be used in a kickstart
post-install-called script. A hand install of the smp variant works but I
should not need to do that.

Yum is the version 2.0.7-2.SL, install by the original kickstart.

Any thoughts?

Regards, Martin.
