Hi all,

I'd like to ask you for help with my problem. I was trying to compile ROOT
(root.cern.ch) from source and I keep getting error message:

/usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6: version 'GLIBCXX_3.4.5' not found

I looked in that file (strings /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.6 | grpe GLIBCXX) and I
 coud see:
GLIBCXX_3.4
GLIBCXX_3.4.1
GLIBCXX_3.4.2
GLIBCXX_3.4.3
GLIBCXX_FORCE_NEW

I made some search on google aswell and it looks other distros are affected
aswell (CentOS), so I think it is not application problem (perhaps). Could
you please help me how could I solve this problem ? (or perheps help me to
find proper rpm from compatible distribution which involves GLIBCXX_3.4.5).
My repository (from which I've installed libstdc++) is:
    linuxsoft.cern.ch/cern/slc4X/$basearch/yum/updates
redhat-release is : Scientific Linux CERN SLC release 4.8 (Beryllium)
Thanks!

Cheers,

 V.
