  I don't know if this is the correct forum for problems of non Scientific
Linux distribution packages. If not, please, educate me about this.

  I've issued the command :

$ gpg --recv-keys 4812C85C
gpg: gpg: requesting key 4812C85C from hkp server subkeys.pgp.net
unable to execute program `/usr/lib/gnupg/gpgkeys_hkp': No such file or
directory
gpg: no handler for keyserver scheme `hkp'
gpg: keyserver receive failed: keyserver error

  Oops ....   How come ?

$ rpm -qil gnupg

Summary : A GNU utility for secure communication and data storage.
Description :
GnuPG (GNU Privacy Guard) is a GNU utility for encrypting data and
creating digital signatures. GnuPG has advanced key management
capabilities and is compliant with the proposed OpenPGP Internet
standard described in RFC2440. Since GnuPG doesn't use any patented
algorithm, it is not compatible with any version of PGP2 (PGP2.x uses
only IDEA for symmetric-key encryption, which is patented worldwide).
/usr/bin/gpg

/usr/lib/gnupg
/usr/lib/gnupg/gnupg
/usr/lib/gnupg/gnupg/gpgkeys_finger
/usr/lib/gnupg/gnupg/gpgkeys_hkp
/usr/lib/gnupg/gnupg/gpgkeys_http

  It seems that there is an exceeding "gnupg" level for the schemes needed
for Gnupg.

  As far as I could verify, the original package (gnupg-1.2.6-1.i386.rpm)
does not have this problem, although it seems to lack the some useful
schemes.

  HTH.
