I have REAL problems with openoffice on my (dual) amd64 box (SL 4.2).
It seems that openoffice can be made to generate kernel oopses without any
problem at all :-(, something that I think is rather surprising. Have had
such issues for a while, also on SL 3.x, and on a variery of stock SMP kernels.
Does anyone know whether there is any protection from such problems?
I can live with the openoffice crashes (which also occur!), but the kernel
oopses are just too much.
Niels
