Yes: I see it on SL3.0.3. 

Looking at the repositories we have at RAL, 3.0.5 and up should have
binutils-2.14.90.0.4-42 in the bug-fix errata.  Looks like we need
either binutils >= 2.14.90.0.4-42 for the older SL3.0.N or a build of
gcc and friends with the older dependency.
