Thanks for the advice, I am going to learn how to do that.
On my desktop I ran
dkms autoinstall --verbose --kernelver 2.6.18-348.18.1.el5
after adding a 'set -x' in dkms script, before to reboot
and everything went fine !
I also dont understand why with
# dkms_autoinstaller A service to automatically install DKMS modules
# for new kernels.
# chkconfig: 345 04 04
this service start in 26 ?
/etc/rc5.d/S26dkms_autoinstaller -> ../init.d/dkms_autoinstaller
