Hello, There is a new security update for systemtap for SL4 and SL5. The updated systemtap for SL5 requires the new elfutils that is in SL5.3. Our initial testing hasn't shown any problems with updating it, but we would like more people to test it out. systemtap for SL4 looks good, but we wanted them both to go out at the same time, so they both are in testing. To test or update SL4 ------- yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update systemtap\* or you can download rpm's by hand at http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/40rolling/testing/i386/RPMS/systemtap/ http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/40rolling/testing/x86_64/RPMS/systemtap/ SL5 ------- yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update elfutils\* yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update systemtap\* or yum --enablerepo=sl-testing update or you can download rpm's by hand at http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/testing/i386/systemtap/ http://ftp.scientificlinux.org/linux/scientific/5rolling/testing/x86_64/systemtap/ Thanks Troy -- __________________________________________________ Troy Dawson [log in to unmask] (630)840-6468 Fermilab ComputingDivision/LCSI/CSI DSS Group __________________________________________________
