Jon,

I've got ASUS A6000KT laptop.
I installed SL 4.4 and Solaris 10.

If I plug USB mouse and try to boot any of these OS then the laptop is 
frozen.

My Solution is to boot the laptop without mouse. When the start-up'll 
finish the initialisation of hardware, network, audio then I can plug 
the mouse.
