Well, I'm not sure now what the new feature in Update 2 vis the Intel
dual cores will be.  I've booted the SL4.1 SMP kernel succesfully with
acpi=off on the kernel line.  The systems seems to properly recognize
2 CPUS.  Maybe hyperthreading support? In any case, you can run dual
core Intels on SL4.1!
