Been there, seen that.
        
        We have seen this on Sun v20z nodes, which have the serial port
        redirected to the service processor.
        
        The solution - compile up Lilo for that release (actually RH)
        and durung
        the kickstart, intall the RPM and run lilo.
        RH really does not want to run Lilo until you hit it over the
        head like
        this.
        Can I ask if your nodes either redirect the serial or run a
        serial
        console?
