Greetings. I noticed that there is a "Plone" package available for SL 3:
[root@mysys root]# cat /etc/redhat-release
Scientific Linux SL Release 3.0.3 (SL)
[root@mysys etc]# yum list | grep -i plone
plone noarch 2.0.4-0.1.1.el3.dag dag
On the other hand, I am unable to find a Zope package:
[root@mysys etc]# yum list | grep -i zope
[root@mysys etc]#
This is with all of the yum sources enabled. See the appended yum.conf
file.
I was under the impression that Plone required Zope, but I thought that
the Plone package might simply just install all of the required stuff.
It evidently does not do that:
[root@mysys root]# yum install plone
Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: DAG rpms
Server: SL 303 contributed rpms
Server: SL 303 errata
Server: SL 303 main

....Unable to satisfy dependencies
Package plone needs zope >= 2.6.4, this is not available.
I am evidently missing something essential here. Can anybody enlighten
me? Thanks.
