Hello,
We discovered today that SL5.2 will lock hard when x starts on an
Optiplex 745 with intel Q965 onboard video.

Symptoms appear similar to this bug:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15933 which was supposedly
patched upstream in May.  Anyone else had trouble?

vesa driver seems not to crash it, but is undesirable for other reasons...
